Selling on DialedN

What Can be Sold

DialedN is a unique marketplace. Buyers come here to purchase items that they might not find anywhere else, whether it's outdoor gear and equipment, services like guiding or instruction, or educational content for outdoor pursuits.

Everything listed for sale on DialedN must fall into one of the following categories:

• Outdoor Gear and Equipment
• Guiding or Instructor Services
• Outdoor Skills Training and Education
• Adventures and Experiences

Outdoor Gear and Equipment: This category refers to any brand-new, unused items intended for use in outdoor or recreational activities, including but not limited to camping equipment, hiking gear, climbing apparatus, fishing gear, and other related items. Sellers must ensure that all equipment adheres to applicable safety standards, and that they accurately describe the functionality and specifications of the items. All items must be in new and unused condition.

Guiding or Instructor Services: These services are provided by certified individuals or companies offering guidance or instruction to customers in various outdoor activities. This can include guided hikes, fishing trips, rock climbing experiences, and more. All guides and instructors must possess the appropriate qualifications and certifications for the activities they offer, adhere to safety standards, and carry necessary insurance coverage.

Outdoor Skills Training and Education: This refers to courses, lessons, or workshops designed to educate participants about specific outdoor skills. Topics can range from survival skills workshops, navigation courses, fly tying lessons, and more. Providers of these services must possess appropriate qualifications and expertise in their respective subjects. They must also provide clear and accurate descriptions of the course content, duration, and any certifications or qualifications that participants will receive.

Adventures and Experiences: Adventures and experiences encompass unique, often exclusive, events or trips that offer customers special outdoor experiences. This could include multi-day hiking trips, wilderness retreats, extreme sports experiences, and more. Sellers offering these services must provide comprehensive information about what's included, the level of fitness or skill required, and any potential risks or safety concerns. They must also adhere to relevant regulations and possess all necessary permissions and insurance coverage for the activities they're offering.

What Can't be Sold on DialedN

Even if they otherwise meet our marketplace criteria, prohibited items, services, and items that violate our Intellectual Property Policy or Prohibited Items Policy are not allowed to be sold on DialedN.

Managing your DialedN Shop

Your shop represents you and your business to the DialedN community. It’s important that you, your items and your shop are honestly and accurately represented.

By selling on DialedN, you agree that you will:

1. Provide honest, accurate information in your About section.
2. Honor your Shop Policies.
3. Ensure your shop content, such as any text, photos or videos used to represent yourself, your shop or your listings, abide by DialedN’s policies.
4. Accurately represent your items in listings and listing photos.
5. Not engage in fee avoidance.
6. Not create duplicate shops or take any other action for the purpose of manipulating search or circumventing DialedN's policies.

Seller Standards

By listing a product or service for sale on DialedN you understand and agree that you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations for the products or services you list for sale, including any required labels and warnings. DialedN assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, labeling, or content of your listings.

Selling Fees

Sellers may be charged for using some of DialedN's services. There are fees associated with listing, selling, advertising, and certain other DialedN products and features.

Being a Member of the DialedN Community

At DialedN, everyone is expected to treat fellow members of the DialedN community with respect. As a seller, you have additional responsibilities to safeguard personal information and communicate promptly with buyers in order to provide a great customer experience.

Creating and Uploading Content

As a member of DialedN, you have the opportunity to create and upload a variety of content, like listings, messages, text, photos, and videos. In order to keep our community safe and respectful, you agree that you will not upload content that:

• Contains hateful or derogatory language or imagery;
• Contains threats, harassment, extortion, or violates our rules about interference;
• Violates someone else’s intellectual property rights;
• Is false, deceptive, or misleading;
• Contains unsolicited advertising or promotions, requests for donations, or spam;
• Contains private information, whether it is your own, or someone else’s;
• Encourages or facilitates a transaction that evades the DialedN checkout process;
• Contains prohibited medical drug claims;
• Violates any of the rules described in our Prohibited Items Policy.

Privacy and Protecting Personal Information

You are responsible for protecting members’ personal information you receive or process, and you must comply with all relevant legal requirements. This includes applicable data protection and privacy laws that govern the ways in which you can use DialedN user information. These laws may require that you post and comply with your own privacy policy, which must be accessible to DialedN users with whom you interact. Your privacy policy must be compatible with this policy and DialedN's Terms of Service.

Communication Standards

Messages

With DialedN's "Messages", you have the ability to communicate directly with your buyers or other DialedN members. Messages are a great way for buyers to ask you questions about an item or an order.

Messages may not be used for the following activities:

• Sending unsolicited advertising or promotions, requests for donations, or spam;
• Harassing or abusing another member; 
• Contacting someone after they have explicitly asked you not to; or
• Interfering with a transaction or the business of another member.

Communicating Cancellations

If you are unable to complete a transaction, you must notify the buyer via Messages and cancel the transaction. If the buyer has already submitted payment, you must issue a full refund. You are encouraged to keep proof of any refunds in the event a dispute arises.

Feedback, Cases and Your Success

Reviews

Reviews are a great way for you to build a reputation on DialedN. Buyers can leave a review, including a one to five star rating and a photograph or video of their purchase, within 90 days after their item’s estimated delivery date. If an estimated delivery date is not available, the review window opens after the order’s processing time and shipping time have elapsed. Buyers can edit their review, including the photograph or video, any number of times during that 90 day period.

DialedN's Case System

The Case system is how a buyer notifies DialedN of an order issue or dispute that they’re unable to resolve with a seller, in order for DialedN to help them reach a resolution. Buyers must contact sellers directly via the Help with Order link and attempt to resolve any outstanding issues before opening a case on DialedN.

Your Seller Account and DialedN's Terms

In order to keep DialedN safe and improve our Services, we may take actions that limit the visibility of your shop, listings or ads, or that impact your payment account.
